LaineTech (Bob Laine): I worked in the IT industry for the last 30+ years. In the course of my professional journeys, I have worked for the Chicago Tribune for 8 years (1991 - 99) as a Technical Analyst supporting the Editorial staff and resolving all technical problems. I also worked at a Staples store for 7 years (2001 - 07) as the sole store Computer Technician. There I was in charge of repairing and upgrading customer PCs and advising them on there software and hardware purchases. I have also been a programmer analyst and a network analyst. My life's goal is to someday, in some capacity, to work at Google. Currently I am selling Streetwise Monday - Friday at the southeast corner of Morgan and Lake (1/2 block south of Google).
